Individualism, not egoism or narcissism

Individualism is not selfishness. Unlike egoism or narcissism, it does not place the self above others, it recognizes that every person is an independent individual with the same rights.

Rather than promoting exploitation or vanity, individualism supports voluntary interaction, mutual respect, and personal responsibility. It is not “only I matter,” but “each individual matters.”
